"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.

So, to show appreciation for something you must comment. I will not do that. If I saw this I would not fave at all; I think it gives out the wrong message that if you don't comment it's useless.
Honstly too many people favorite deviations than rather comment Like what if its an urgent thing.. They just barely look at it then they randomly favorite it.
